This week is the North Idaho Fair. We thought that it would be fun to take Ava for a few hours. She loved it. We saw goats, llamas, horses, cows, pigs and chickens. She thought that it was great!
Our friend's have a booth that they run every year and they make elephant ears. (they are big flat bread things with cinnamon and sugar, and Riley gave Ava her first taste of one, and probably her first taste of sugar! Needless to say, she loved it.
She really liked this goat. It would talk to her and she would just stare at it. It was really funny. Until now she hasn't been around very many animals so it was really cute.

These are the huge "Budweiser" horses. I think that they have a real name, but I don't know what it is. Ava thought they were pretty cool too, but they weren't as friendly as the goat.
She loved the pigs. They were just hanging out and eating everything in sight. She got a kick out of them.
She learned all about the anatomy of the cow, from the wrong end. All the cows were laying down
Riley won her a glow stick. She thought it was a great little chew toy (just like everything else) Luckily she lost interest before she could chew through it. She also got a balloon from the booth my mom was volunteering at. We tied it to her bracelet and she would move her hand all around to make the balloon move. The funniest thing was she would try to grab the balloon, but the higher she reached, the higher the balloon went.
The was the car ride home. It didn't take long for her to fall right asleep. She was so tired, but we had a blast.

did any of the cows fart?? that would have been funny. You should have seen some of the war wounds Payson had (and still gets). Makes you look like a saint. I am glad you had fun at the fair. Nobody puked, I assume?? Lindsay??
I haven't puked in years! Okay at least not at the fair...will I ever live it down?
